Before starting O&P, he has been a General Manager in medium-sized companies in general contracting, mechanical and service industry.
Formerly, he has been manager of the StMicrolectronics group for 9 years, in the areas of strategic planning and organization, manager of a company operating in the publishing industry for 4 years and a consultant for 3 years.
Salvatore teaches post-graduate University courses in Negotiation and Strategy; he is also a board member of a local public transport company.
Negotiation, strategy and public transport & mobility represent areas of strong interest that are cultivated within the O&P as well, through the development of specific skills, studies and analyses.

During all these years of activity he has followed innumerable entrepreneurial realities providing fiscal and business accounting consultancy. In this context, he has followed many extraordinary business operations; he has held various positions as an auditor of public bodies, a trustee in bankruptcy and a member of Boards of Statutory Auditors as well as a director.

Carlo brings 30 years of international experience with Technology Companies, in particular in the Semiconductor Industry. He worked at STMicroelectronics in Italy, France and Switzerland, in multiple roles, such as General Manager for 2 separate Business Units and VP Strategy for Product Groups with 1 B$ in sales. He conceived, developed and negotiated key partnerships on a global scale (Cina, USA, UK), often based on disruptive technologies (low-cost computing, silicon photonics and silicon lab-on-chips for DNA analysis). He lead a very large restructuring initiative with headcount reduction, the shutdown of a site in Bangalore – India (300 people), the divestiture of a business line to an acquirer, conversion of the main business from the consumer to the automotive market. After an experience as VP Sales in a technology start-up, he is currently supporting international customers for projects of strategy and business development.
